Recovery

- Dark sunglasses are recommended to protect eyes from irritation caused by sun and dust for 1-2 weeks.
- You may experience dry eyes for 1-2 weeks.

- It is recommended to avoid strenuous activities and swimming for 4 weeks.

Face Lift
rhytidectomy
Face lift (rhytidectomy) is a surgical procedure that reshapes the face due to visible signs of aging such as sagging skin, fold lines, loosen skin and excess fat around the face and neck area.
After consulting with the doctor to select the areas, methods and type of face lifts, an incision will be made depending on the type of face lifts selected to remove and reposition the facial skin or fat, as well as tightening the facial muscles.
Smokers have a much higher risk of complications and will be asked to stop smoking for at least a month before the surgery.
Recovery

Fillers & Botox
Non surgical aesthetics includes injecting dermal fillers, fat or Botox® under the skin to improve the contour, symmetry and shape of the face without having to go under the knife. The procedures can help significantly reduce the signs of aging for a limited period of time.
Dermal fillers help to make up for the loss of facial volume and soften the facial lines to create plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, softens facial creases and wrinkles, and improve the appearance of recessed scars.
Botox® is a nonsurgical procedure that contains a toxin that temporarily paralyzes muscle movement which will significantly reduce frown lines and wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, and the neck. Botox® is also commonly used to treat patients to relieve migraine headaches, excessive sweating and muscle spasms in the neck and eyes.

- Slight bruising, swelling, and bleeding is common for the procedure.

Parotid Surgery
Parotid surgery is a procedure done to remove all or part of the salivary gland in the cheek, typically due to tumours of the parotid gland or recurrent infections of the gland. As tumours may increase in size over time, the removal of the salivary gland is crucial to prevent further damage on the facial tissue and nerve.
The parotidectomy procedure requires precision and care to identify and spare the facial nerve which controls the muscles and movement of the face.

Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is a procedure that reshapes the nose to enhance facial symmetry and proportion or correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects of the nose. The procedure includes changing the bone, cartilage, or skin of the nose.
The procedure may be done inside the nose or through a small incision at the base of the nose, between the nostrils. The process of the surgery may differ for everyone as each surgery is unique and customized for everyone’s anatomy and goals.
